Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me Guitar tabulature

Band/Artist: Puddle Of Mudd
Song Title: She Hates Me
Album: Come Clean
Tabbed by: Cosmic3K (cosmic3k@hotmail.com

I realise there's a lot of tabs around for this one, but they all seem to be wrong at some point or another, so me and my friend decided to tab it out for ourselves and post it here...

OK, most of this was pretty easy to work out by ear... my friend helped me with the solo and a couple of parts of the intro, though. I don't know if he
worked them out himself or his guitar teacher told him, but they sound correct to me. I've also worked out the time that each riff is played for convenience of playing...

NOTE: Since my friend is actually the bass player in my band and I'm the only guitarist, this is tabbed out for one guitar. The 2nd guitar adds little more to the song than a few hammer-ons here and there and the doubling up of certain riffs with guitar 1, so I didn't bother to tab them out. If you really want or need them, e-mail me and I'll see what I can do...

I also think that the actual song is tuned half a step down like most Puddle Of Mudd songs, but this sounds OK to me in standard tuning. I've never really bothered to tune down half a step to play stuff unless its absolutely necessary, so I hope it sounds OK for you guys...

Anyways, enough chat, please enjoy the tab, and we'd be grateful if you could rate it so we know if we've done a good job or not...

These are the chords you need... for the intro, just
play them as broken chords, as stated...

(1:53-2:11) Solo (overdrive, sounds like wah-wah for the effects...)
E|-------------------------------------|----------------------------------------|

G|----------3-3-3-3----3---3----5b7r---|------------3-3-3-3--4-4-4-5----5b7r/14-|

A|-------------------------------------|-----------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|-----------------------------|
Play the last note about 6 times, and gradually bend it a little more
each time until you have the pitch of the 7th fret...

(2:11-2:15) No guitar...

(2:15-3:03) Verse 3/Outro (clean)
   F Bb5 G C5
E|-------------------|--------------------------|
B|-------------------|--------------------------|
G|----2--------3-----|-----4----------------5---|
D|----3--------3-----|-----5----------------5---|
A|----3----0-1-----0-|--5--5---0--3------3-----0|
E|-1-----------------|--3-----------------------|

(3:03-3:09) Let your guitar fade out...

You don't really need the next part because it just plays over the Puddle Of Mudd guys talking and laughing, and if you're gonna play play it in a band then you probably won't include that part when you play it. However, if you want to play it like on the CD, then here it is:

(3:09-3:29) Extra Outro (overdrive, left panned guitar, treble tone at
full, bass tone at '0')
   F Bb5 G C5
E|------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------|
G|---------3-3-3-3----------5-5-5-5-5-|
D|3-3-3-3--3-3-3-3---5-5-5--5-5-5-5-5-|
A|3-3-3-3--1-1-1-1---5-5-5--3-3-3-3-3-|
E|1-1-1-1------------3-3-3------------|

So basically, there's only 4 chords in the whole song. If you're only just learning to play the guitar, then the picking on the intro *might* need a little
practise, but on the whole it's damned easy...

I think it's at least 95% accurate, but as I said earlier, if you have any corrections (or parts for the second guitar) that you want to tell me about,
then please by all means post them in 'Corrections'. Cheers...

I won't post the lyrics, I typed them all up but my PC crashed and I hadn't had time to save them, so I'm a bit peeved to say the least... if you can't work them out then
they're easy enough to find if you search on 'Google', or again you can e-mail me...

That's about it, hope you enjoy it, and thanks for your time!
