Smelly Cat Phoebe from the Show "Friends"
Arranged by John Siambani bk233@freenet.carleton.ca

Yup. This is the song from that show. Love it or hate it, it's a cute/funny song. I get a ton of laughs and sing a-longs from my audiences when I play this on acoustic. I once did a harmonized version of this with my roomate. The possibilities are endless! The version Phoebe plays on the show isn't in this key. I have transposed it to fit my vocal range.

Chords: Em (022000) A (x02220) D (xx0232)

Em A D A Em
Smelly Cat Smelly Cat What are they feeding you
Smelly Cat Smelly Cat It's not your fault

Em A
They won't take you to the vet
       D A Em
You're obviously not their favorite pet
Em A
You may not be a bed of roses
           D A Em
And you're no friend to those with noses

Chorus and verses again as you wish

now it's: a stable relationship, natural highs
(519) 579-2811 and a good soundtrack." John Siambani 1/22/96
