Flack Roberta - The First Time I Ever Guitar tabulature

-##

On your guitar file you have a set of words and chords for the Ewan
MacColl song "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face". I only know the Roberta
Flack recording and although it's obviously the same song
the words and particularly the chords are completely different from what
you have written. Maybe MacColl used more than one tune.

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.

Dm G C
The first time ever I saw your face
Am Em F
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
                     C
And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave
       Bb C
to the dark and the end of the skies

The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hand,
like a trembling heart of a captive bird,
that was there at my birth.

And the first time ever I lay with you
I felt your heart so close to mine
and I knew our joy would fill the earth
and last till the end of time
